Lost your key? We will email it.
We answer with a personal link. Open it to show your license key, deactivate the current computer, or both. The answer is identical whether or not the email exists in our system, so nothing leaks here.
Move to a new computer
A move issues a new license key and immediately retires the old key and the old activation. The new key arrives by email; enter it on the new computer and you are done. The old computer can no longer activate.
How activation works
| Stage | What happens |

| First launch | The app shows the activation window before anything else; enter the key from your email. |
| Activation | Your computer proves the key to the licensing service, receives a signed activation, and stores it locally. |
| Steady state | Every launch checks the local activation; about every 30 days the app revalidates online for a moment. |
| Offline grace | No connection? The app keeps working for up to 90 days between successful online checks. |
| Revalidation | Needed but unreachable? You are never blocked for a network outage; only an explicit revocation stops the app. |
One license = one active computer at a time. If activation says the
license is busy on another computer, use the forms above to free or move it;
that is exactly what they are for.
