CROSSHAIR EASY

Terms of use

Effective: October 2026 (version 1.1)

1. Who you are contracting with

These terms govern CROSSHAIR EASY, a Windows software product and its website. "We"/"us" means [OPERATOR: legal entity / sole trader name and address]. Purchases are processed by [OPERATOR: payment provider, e.g. Paddle] as merchant of record [OPERATOR: confirm]. By downloading, installing or purchasing, you accept these terms.

2. The license

CROSSHAIR EASY is licensed, not sold. For the price shown at checkout you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use version 1.x of the software for your own purposes, subject to:

3. What you must not do

4. Updates and availability

The license includes updates within the 1.x line. We may modify or discontinue features in later versions [OPERATOR: confirm whether 2.x would be a new purchase]. We do not commit to support any specific game remaining compatible.

5. Game rules and anti-cheat

CROSSHAIR EASY is an external overlay. It does not inject code, read game memory, modify game files, or require administrator rights. Despite that, game publishers and anti-cheat providers may restrict overlays by policy, and exclusive-fullscreen modes may hide the overlay entirely. You are responsible for checking and following the rules of the games you use it with. We are not liable for actions taken against your game accounts.

6. No warranty

The software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the product shall not exceed the amount you paid us [OPERATOR: confirm, typically "in the 12 months before the claim" or "the purchase price"]. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including game bans or lost game progress. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for fraud or personal injury caused by negligence).

8. Refunds

Refunds are handled per our refund policy, processed by our payment provider. A confirmed refund revokes the license.

9. Ending the license

The license ends automatically if you breach these terms. You can stop using the product at any time; we may revoke a license that was obtained fraudulently or through abuse of the activation system, or that has been refunded.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [OPERATOR: jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules [OPERATOR: confirm mandatory consumer venue for your market]. EU consumers additionally have the mandatory protections of their country of residence. Online disputes: [OPERATOR: EU ODR platform link, if selling into the EU].
